Pinnacle Foam Wax Applicator Pkg. of 3 Review

(More customer reviews)Was buying some other things from the seller so I stuck these in the cart, too. They work ok but the foam is not the softest. Was worried about swirl marks. The lip around the edge of the pad (where the foam is pressed/cut) is quite hard. I ended up cutting it off with scissors: problem solved. If they come the way I made them after cutting I'd give them 4 stars.

(More customer reviews)This product worked much better than I ever expected, even though it was recommended to me by a friend. I have a classic 68 Chevelle (& 2005 pickup) that I consider my baby. I am very picky when it comes to the brand of cleaners and protectors that I use on it so I was skeptical about it even though it came recommended. I first used it on my truck and was very surprised about how easy it was to apply and even more so about how easy it was to remove. Still not confident enough to use on my baby, I figure I'll give it a couple weeks to see how it holds up on my truck and to make 100% sure I figure I'll try it on my sons car which is an older car with oxidized faded paint. I first used the deoxidiser/cleaner on the car and almost fell over how much better and shinier the red paint looked and that was before the protectant was even applied. I think I'll have to send the boy a bill for the new looking paint his car now has. Well this convinced me and I have been protecting my car with Diamond Shield for a couple years now and would not even think about using anything else. Also, even though it wouldn't matter to me cuz I love detailing my vehicles (a weirdo, I know) the protection lasts longer then any other product I've used in the past 25+ years.

SpongeTech Car Wash & Wax Sponge Review

Eagle One 2081616 NanoWax Review

(More customer reviews)I've been a Meguiars customer for 20 years and have on hand a number of their products. I usually need to use more than one product to get the desired result I'm looking for when detaily my car. I read another post about this product and decided to try it. After using a clay bar (from Meguiars) I applied the Nanowax and could not believe my eyes. Almost completely gone were swirl marks and some etchings from tree sap and bugs. The gloss returned to a new look and felt incredible. I have never experienced this kind of transformation without using 2 or more products beyond the clay bar. It saved me lots of time and this product is extremely easy to use. I used Meguiars swirl remover #9 and also a polish and could not get the same result as with one application of the nanowax.

recommended use with a da or rotary buffer. Applied mine with a pc 7424 and polishing pad. Product works nicely and buffs off very easily. It can remove light scratches and swirls, as well as water marks and stains. Left black paint looking new.
Synthetic Sealant 2.0:
My new favorite sealant/wax!! Applied with a finishing pad on the 7424, buffed onto the entire car and allow to haze before removing. The product came right off with the included microfibers with absolutely no issues. Sealant should last about 2-3 months before needing to apply again. The finish on black paint with this product is amazing.
Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner:
Used on interior and exterior vinyl, plastics, rubber and everything looks great. Does not leave a shiny coat on everything, instead plastics come back darker and have more of a natural and clean look to them. Can also be used under the hood although i have not done this as of yet.
I have yet to try the Hi-Tech Wash but i'm sure it's great, buy everything here seperately and you're looking at around $60.
This is a great deal on meguiars professional line of products.

I pondered over my decision to buy it for over 3 months while researching and researching since In the past I've just bought over the counter products at car supply chains (including Zymol). After researching all other competitors and even within Zymol, I decided on this product. After following directions I concluded that it was well worth the investment. I don't own a fancy car, a 2006 Ford F-150 (which is my work horse), but let me tell you after four plus years and after using the product, the truck looks brand new as when I drove it of the lot in 2006. Very nice shine (mirror-like). The key is following the directions and having patience as you have to apply the product by hand and in small sections. So if you are pondering the investment, which yeah its a bit high....it is well worth and you should be happy with the results.

Smartwax 20105 SmartTone Waterless Wash Wax and Sealant In One - 16 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)So far I have tried about 6 different kinds of waterless washes. If you see my previous reviews, the bulk of them are related to detailing. I like to keep a clean car. However, I have since switched to using either rinseless washes or waterless washes to reduce water consumption. For light to moderate grime/dirt on a car, a good quality waterless wash is an ideal fit.
SmartWax One is superior because it uses an environmentally friendly formula to effectively encapsulate grime/dirt and leave nice protection behind. It is carnuba based and smells very nice. The best barometer for me is how it works on windows. (This is usually the failings of some waterless washes). SmartWax One works exceptionally well on windows and plastics. To use, simply spray, let sit for a couple seconds, wipe in one direction, the after it hazes wipe with a clean microfiber cloth. I can do a complete detail in less than 10 minutes (stem to stern). So far, I have used this bottle for 4 complete cleanings and I still have over 1/2 bottle left.
For the record, this is an ever crowded segment and it seems like SmartWax One is lost in the shuffle (judging by the Amazon prices), but it is a great product

Zymol Z503 Car Cleaner Wax - 16 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)Several years ago, I asked my brother what the best car polish was. He looked through consumer reports and it was Zymol, but it cost twice as much as #2 did. So I searched for #2 and could not find it in a store, but Zymol was there and for less than the $16 that CR had priced it at. So I bought it.
It has been the best car polish I have ever used. The car feels so slick after polishing that I think it improves my fuel economy. On long trips from the east coast to the midwest, I would use Zymol on the front few inches of the hood to clean off the bugs, and fewer would stick afterwards. I did this in the rest stops to give me some physical activity and help me stay awake. I also used Zymol on the front of the mirrors and the headlights to keep them nearly bug free.
Sometimes I get a whiff of old applicators or buffing cloths in the trunk; they smell like coconut and banana. That's the smell of car polish!? I like it. The rain really beads up, and the 93 Accord looks nearly new. I'm keeping the Accord and I'm keeping with Zymol. Really amazing stuff.

(More customer reviews)Goes on like any other liquid wax. Wipes off easily. Produces a very very slick finish, provided the paint you apply this to is clean and smooth to start with. If its not, get out the compound or clay bar. Only fly in the ointment is the 12 hour "cure" time to allow the coating to polymerize in a covered area to keep moisture and crud from interfering with the polymerization process.
I tried this product as my current job is in a rural agricultural area -- bug splatters big time and lots of very fine dust from the construction project I'm working at. Bug guts wash off easily and dust has not been able to stick.
Rejex goes on easy and wipes off without a lot of elbow grease. When its time to reapply Rejex, I usually run my 07 RX400h through the carwash on Friday after work, and apply Rejex when I get home so the 12 hour cure period occurs overnight. I didn't try Rejex for its once a year application claims. I wanted superior non-stick coating to keep bugs and dirt from baking on the paint. And I'll apply Rejex every 2-3 months to keep the slickness at max.

COLOR MAGIC WAX KIT -- RED --16 OZ. Review

(More customer reviews)This stuff actually works pretty good at covering up nicks and scratches on your vehicle. There's a colored lipstick-like tube that you can use to blob some wax onto the defect and then you apply the liguid wax itself over the bad area. Then buff like you would normal wax.
I use this after I've already waxed my car with my regular wax (Meguiars) to just hide the chipped areas that are visible. Regular waxes are normally white and they tend to collect in the nicks and make them even more visible. This colored Turtle Wax is much better at hiding the bad areas. Although the Turtle Wax itself isn't in the same league as some of the better carnauba waxes, it's good enough for the touchup areas.
Using Turtle Wax Color Cure is definitely much easier than fooling aroung trying to use touchup paint which never matches and is always a hassle.

(More customer reviews)I bought this because I got a bunch of mud on my bestop seat covers. I scrubbed quite a bit with this stuff and at the end of a couple cleaning cycles it was cleaner, but wasn't as nice looking as i would have hoped. I could still see the mud stains on the black fabric. I haven't tried it on my soft top yet, but I have a feeling soap and water would have worked just as good. Maybe my expectations were too high that this stuff would be excellent at cleaning Bestop material.
