(More customer reviews)I am not a car detailing fanatic, and I would normally go through the automatic car wash at the gas station even though I have always been troubled by the incredible waste of water. But I bought a new black car and I knew it would take more work to keep it clean, especially in the winter. I found this product on an internet discussion board, and bought it here through amazon/palm beach motoring/autogeek. This stuff is awesome!
Just two capfuls of Optimum No Rinse, plus 1 bucket of water and some microfiber towels and my car is CLEAN. Amazingly clean. No rinsing. No hose or anything. The dirt bonds to the liquid somehow and after soaking the microfiber towel in the "soapy" bucket and cleaning off the dirt, you just wipe your car dry. I know it makes no sense whatsoever to NOT rinse off your car, but it really works. No scratches or swirls or anything. Now I can clean my car in the garage, even in the winter - without wasting water! It was really cold outside, so my hands were frozen by the time I was finished, so next time I am going to use a pair of really long rubber gloves. (And after cleaning I did follow with an application of Klasse All in One - a non-wax protectant, which is also new to me and I would also recommend).
This product would be a perfect gift for earth-friendly or car-loving types.

SpongeTech Car Wash & Wax Sponge Review

Stoner Invisible Glass Pump Spray 3 Pack Review

You get more applications for you $$ with the pump but the aerosol foam works even better and stays in place till you finish polishing the glass.

recommended use with a da or rotary buffer. Applied mine with a pc 7424 and polishing pad. Product works nicely and buffs off very easily. It can remove light scratches and swirls, as well as water marks and stains. Left black paint looking new.
Synthetic Sealant 2.0:
My new favorite sealant/wax!! Applied with a finishing pad on the 7424, buffed onto the entire car and allow to haze before removing. The product came right off with the included microfibers with absolutely no issues. Sealant should last about 2-3 months before needing to apply again. The finish on black paint with this product is amazing.
Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner:
Used on interior and exterior vinyl, plastics, rubber and everything looks great. Does not leave a shiny coat on everything, instead plastics come back darker and have more of a natural and clean look to them. Can also be used under the hood although i have not done this as of yet.
I have yet to try the Hi-Tech Wash but i'm sure it's great, buy everything here seperately and you're looking at around $60.
This is a great deal on meguiars professional line of products.

Zymol Z-507 Leather Cleaner and Z-509 Leather Conditioner Review

(More customer reviews)I bought the Zymol Leather Cleaner and Leather Conditioner the other day to compare it to what I was currently using to clean and condition my leather: Woolite/Water for cleaning and Duragloss Leather Conditioner for conditioning. Since the price was right, I didn't have much to lose.
I started with the Leather Cleaner. After a few spritzes (a little goes a long way) I worked it in with my microfiber towel. I was surprised to see that even though I had cleaned my seats about two weeks prior, it removed quite a bit of dirt! My towel ended up being black, which meant that it was doing a great job of removing dirt that the Woolite/Water mix didn't.
After cleaning the seats, I moved to the conditioning step. The Zymol has a nice smell to it, I preferred it to the strong Duragloss. I applied and worked it in with my hands and again, a little goes a long way. Everything was buffed out with my microfiber towel.
The seats felt supple, looked clean and smelled great. Buy this combo, you won't regret it!

Zymol Z503 Car Cleaner Wax - 16 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)Several years ago, I asked my brother what the best car polish was. He looked through consumer reports and it was Zymol, but it cost twice as much as #2 did. So I searched for #2 and could not find it in a store, but Zymol was there and for less than the $16 that CR had priced it at. So I bought it.
It has been the best car polish I have ever used. The car feels so slick after polishing that I think it improves my fuel economy. On long trips from the east coast to the midwest, I would use Zymol on the front few inches of the hood to clean off the bugs, and fewer would stick afterwards. I did this in the rest stops to give me some physical activity and help me stay awake. I also used Zymol on the front of the mirrors and the headlights to keep them nearly bug free.
Sometimes I get a whiff of old applicators or buffing cloths in the trunk; they smell like coconut and banana. That's the smell of car polish!? I like it. The rain really beads up, and the 93 Accord looks nearly new. I'm keeping the Accord and I'm keeping with Zymol. Really amazing stuff.

(More customer reviews)I wanted to pick up a tube of another brand, but the last one of those was cracked, so they would have dried out before I could use them all. I thought, "It's 2009, glass cleaning is pretty much perfected and no company would sell a glass cleaner that leaves white streaks all over your windows." I was wrong.
After the first pass of all my windows I thought maybe I had some residue buildup that will come off after the next cleaning. Nope. The second pass was worse. Smoky white streaks everywhere. I didn't even use the rest of these. The next time I could, I picked up the tube of what I wanted the first time and just tossed the rest of these Armor All wipes. I'm happy to say my windows are clean again. I can still see a little bit of Armor All residue left, but this time I know that will go away with the second use of my other wipes.
Stay far, far away from these.

(More customer reviews)I normally only review books but as something different I decided to forgo a book and to try Dash-Away, by Surf City Garage, since it was one of the offerings from the Vine program that I am a member of. It was an interesting sounding product that was designed and promised to clean and polish your car interior and also clean the upholstery and carpets.
I have a '96 convertible Firebird with under 60 thousand miles on it. Pristine.
I used it on my dashboard and I followed the directions--- and I truly wish I had taken before and after pictures. It seemed to have bleached a part of my dark gray dash. I thought maybe the dash was dirtier than I imagined so I had my nephew try it on his car, both on a vinyl area and his carpeting...it didn't even clean the dirt on his head rest after several attempts.
It does not clean nor does it shine your cars interior. Stick with Armor-All.
I now have a ruined dashboard. I am angry.

(More customer reviews)I used this on my 3 year old Escalade ESV Chrome rims to get some of the tiny rust dots on them off and it didn't do anything but make them shiny. Shiny is nice, but I bought it because it also says Rust remover and I only had tiny dots of rust spots, so I don't know what this would work on. Followed directions, reapplied as well and nothing. Thank goodness it's cheap. (maybe for a reason?)
