(More customer reviews)I am not a car detailing fanatic, and I would normally go through the automatic car wash at the gas station even though I have always been troubled by the incredible waste of water. But I bought a new black car and I knew it would take more work to keep it clean, especially in the winter. I found this product on an internet discussion board, and bought it here through amazon/palm beach motoring/autogeek. This stuff is awesome!
Just two capfuls of Optimum No Rinse, plus 1 bucket of water and some microfiber towels and my car is CLEAN. Amazingly clean. No rinsing. No hose or anything. The dirt bonds to the liquid somehow and after soaking the microfiber towel in the "soapy" bucket and cleaning off the dirt, you just wipe your car dry. I know it makes no sense whatsoever to NOT rinse off your car, but it really works. No scratches or swirls or anything. Now I can clean my car in the garage, even in the winter - without wasting water! It was really cold outside, so my hands were frozen by the time I was finished, so next time I am going to use a pair of really long rubber gloves. (And after cleaning I did follow with an application of Klasse All in One - a non-wax protectant, which is also new to me and I would also recommend).
This product would be a perfect gift for earth-friendly or car-loving types.

(More customer reviews)This is awesome for the winter time, when there's salt and dirt all over the road and you can't wash your car outside (because it's freezing).
You HAVE to get your car washed first though (or wash it yourself during the warm months). If your car is filthy, this won't work very well (plus, you'll have to use so much of it, you'll be wasting your money). You have to at least spray the majority of the dirt off first.
This spray is more of a touch up spray. It leaves a nice, shiny coat on the car that repels water and makes for easier cleaning next time.

(More customer reviews)This is the only thing I use to clean my aluminum alloy wheels. I spray it liberally on the wheels, and depending on the amount of grime and brake dust I work it around with a small wheel cleaning brush. I then rinse it off with the hose. The wheels are now perfectly clean. The problem I have found with other, less expensive wheel cleaners is they discolor the tires. It defeats the purpose if you end up with nice shiny wheels but streaky looking tires. Go with this stuff, its worth the few extra dollars.

recommended use with a da or rotary buffer. Applied mine with a pc 7424 and polishing pad. Product works nicely and buffs off very easily. It can remove light scratches and swirls, as well as water marks and stains. Left black paint looking new.
Synthetic Sealant 2.0:
My new favorite sealant/wax!! Applied with a finishing pad on the 7424, buffed onto the entire car and allow to haze before removing. The product came right off with the included microfibers with absolutely no issues. Sealant should last about 2-3 months before needing to apply again. The finish on black paint with this product is amazing.
Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner:
Used on interior and exterior vinyl, plastics, rubber and everything looks great. Does not leave a shiny coat on everything, instead plastics come back darker and have more of a natural and clean look to them. Can also be used under the hood although i have not done this as of yet.
I have yet to try the Hi-Tech Wash but i'm sure it's great, buy everything here seperately and you're looking at around $60.
This is a great deal on meguiars professional line of products.

Meguiar's G15415 Endurance Tire Dressing Aerosol -15 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)First let me start by saying I have roughly 3/4 of the Meguiar's products made and love every one of them including this Endurance (Aerosol)Tire Dressing...BUT.....there is a major issue and it isn't just with this Aerosol, but ANY Aerosol Spray, and that is that they just don't last long! That's probably an understatement as even with a LIGHT-COATING spray on my 4 tires, HALF THE CAN WAS GONE! The NXT INSANE SHINE TIRE SPRAY is slightly bigger (a few ounces more) so I can MAYBE squeeze out 3 seperate tire applications out of it..but that's it! Now the benefit to the Aerosol cans is that they are CONVENIENT, not Messy, and QUICK! You can spray all 4 tires in a minute or two..but for $7-$10 a can...sorry Charlie...that's just a rip. Most people (myself included) work hard for their money and expect to get more then 2 applications from a tire spray. It's ridiculous to be honest. So with that being said, i'm just sticking to the Meguiar's Gels and Tire Sprays (Trigger bottles) as they go much further for the dollar, they just take more time to apply. Another benefit to the sprays & gels are that they last longer then ANY of the Aerosol tire dressings, including this one. It's been 1 week since I washed my truck and while my tires do have some shine left...I work 5 miles from work and it's freeway driving. I haven't driven over any mud or puddles, and this shine is no better nor any longer lasting then the NXT INSANE TIRE SPRAY. Both last about a week, so if you wash your vehicle weekly (like I typically do) you'll need to cans per month. That's $18-$20 a month or well over $200 a year just on tire dressing alone!! That is, if you continue to use the Aerosol cans. I love Meguiar's but I'm a little disappointed here. Yes, the product works, but it's just a major rip off to have 15oz in an Aerosol Tire Dressing can. If this can were 45oz, this product would be worthy of 5 stars. But the same goes true for the Insane Shine Tire Spray as well.
So in summary, if you're in a real rush and need a quick tire dressing, this fits the bill. But over the long haul if you take care of your ride like I do and wash it regularly, then there are much better options out there for longevity and price.

Smartwax 20105 SmartTone Waterless Wash Wax and Sealant In One - 16 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)So far I have tried about 6 different kinds of waterless washes. If you see my previous reviews, the bulk of them are related to detailing. I like to keep a clean car. However, I have since switched to using either rinseless washes or waterless washes to reduce water consumption. For light to moderate grime/dirt on a car, a good quality waterless wash is an ideal fit.
SmartWax One is superior because it uses an environmentally friendly formula to effectively encapsulate grime/dirt and leave nice protection behind. It is carnuba based and smells very nice. The best barometer for me is how it works on windows. (This is usually the failings of some waterless washes). SmartWax One works exceptionally well on windows and plastics. To use, simply spray, let sit for a couple seconds, wipe in one direction, the after it hazes wipe with a clean microfiber cloth. I can do a complete detail in less than 10 minutes (stem to stern). So far, I have used this bottle for 4 complete cleanings and I still have over 1/2 bottle left.
For the record, this is an ever crowded segment and it seems like SmartWax One is lost in the shuffle (judging by the Amazon prices), but it is a great product

(More customer reviews)Goes on like any other liquid wax. Wipes off easily. Produces a very very slick finish, provided the paint you apply this to is clean and smooth to start with. If its not, get out the compound or clay bar. Only fly in the ointment is the 12 hour "cure" time to allow the coating to polymerize in a covered area to keep moisture and crud from interfering with the polymerization process.
I tried this product as my current job is in a rural agricultural area -- bug splatters big time and lots of very fine dust from the construction project I'm working at. Bug guts wash off easily and dust has not been able to stick.
Rejex goes on easy and wipes off without a lot of elbow grease. When its time to reapply Rejex, I usually run my 07 RX400h through the carwash on Friday after work, and apply Rejex when I get home so the 12 hour cure period occurs overnight. I didn't try Rejex for its once a year application claims. I wanted superior non-stick coating to keep bugs and dirt from baking on the paint. And I'll apply Rejex every 2-3 months to keep the slickness at max.

I wondered about high shipping cost, but when I got my order, I knew why. They marked box FRIGILE with just 2 towels inside? $7.95 yeah right. Buy this cloth somewhere else, it's worth it, but not worth the 8 bucks for fragile shipping cost.
