(More customer reviews)I am not a car detailing fanatic, and I would normally go through the automatic car wash at the gas station even though I have always been troubled by the incredible waste of water. But I bought a new black car and I knew it would take more work to keep it clean, especially in the winter. I found this product on an internet discussion board, and bought it here through amazon/palm beach motoring/autogeek. This stuff is awesome!
Just two capfuls of Optimum No Rinse, plus 1 bucket of water and some microfiber towels and my car is CLEAN. Amazingly clean. No rinsing. No hose or anything. The dirt bonds to the liquid somehow and after soaking the microfiber towel in the "soapy" bucket and cleaning off the dirt, you just wipe your car dry. I know it makes no sense whatsoever to NOT rinse off your car, but it really works. No scratches or swirls or anything. Now I can clean my car in the garage, even in the winter - without wasting water! It was really cold outside, so my hands were frozen by the time I was finished, so next time I am going to use a pair of really long rubber gloves. (And after cleaning I did follow with an application of Klasse All in One - a non-wax protectant, which is also new to me and I would also recommend).
This product would be a perfect gift for earth-friendly or car-loving types.

(More customer reviews)This stuff actually works pretty good at covering up nicks and scratches on your vehicle. There's a colored lipstick-like tube that you can use to blob some wax onto the defect and then you apply the liguid wax itself over the bad area. Then buff like you would normal wax.
I use this after I've already waxed my car with my regular wax (Meguiars) to just hide the chipped areas that are visible. Regular waxes are normally white and they tend to collect in the nicks and make them even more visible. This colored Turtle Wax is much better at hiding the bad areas. Although the Turtle Wax itself isn't in the same league as some of the better carnauba waxes, it's good enough for the touchup areas.
Using Turtle Wax Color Cure is definitely much easier than fooling aroung trying to use touchup paint which never matches and is always a hassle.

Meguiar's A-2216 Deep Crystal Carnuba Wax. 16 oz. liquid Review

(More customer reviews)I used both the Step 2 and Step 3 of Meguiar's liguid wax/polish (didn't think I needed the Step 1 cleaner) and the combination provided the shiniest vehicle surface I've seen in quite a while. Even better than carnauba paste wax.
The Step 2 polish by itself is a good surface but the extra work of applying Step 3 is worth it; it's very noticeably shinier. And since both steps are liguid instead of paste, they go on faster than paste.
Try to find these on sale somewhere since the original price is high, but if you want a really shiny car, try both Step 2 and 3.

(More customer reviews)I've used many polishes/glazes over the years on all kinds of cars and I can honestly say this is the best polish/glaze I've found on the market. I've used products like P21S, Klasse, and even Sonus and the Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Professional Show Car Glaze #7 is the best I've found.
If you apply this correctly (in multiple coats if your car has old paint) then it provides a deep, deep gloss before you apply a wax and/or sealant.
The ONLY negative thing I have to say about this polish/glaze is that it smells like chemicals mixed with bird droppings. I really wish Meguiar's made this stuff smell better. That said, if the bad smell is what I have to live with to get this kind of depth/mirror shine then so be it.
Bottom line, if you're looking for a polish/glaze to add depth to your shine before you apply wax, this is what you need to buy.

(More customer reviews)I have used Meguiars High Tech Yellow #26 on my car for about four years. I began using it at work, was impressed with the results and have been using it ever since. It gave my finish excellent shine, as well as great beading with a very slick feel. It is easy to apply and remove, and gives amazing results (especially with machine application). It leaves a finish so slick that when a friend leaned against my car, he slipped off it and fell down :D Multiple coats produce even deeper shine and longevity. I applied two coats about 9 months ago, and my car still has the shine and beads water.

This stuff is the best preparatory item to get your car looking great and protecting it from the elements. From experience, this is THE one important step. I know after using this product, the other two steps will be a breeze to apply and make my car look flawless. The paint cleaner does what it advertises, cleans the paint in preparation for application of wax and polish. Now, this is also the step that takes the most time for me. It usually take nearly an hour to apply. But, once I do, the other two steps in the 3-step application process goes much faster. This stuff is gold to me and my car. Please don't get rid of it, Meguiar's!

(More customer reviews)I recently used Smart Sealant on my Scion TC, which is a dark gray color. A polish should definitely be used before using the Smart Sealant. I started with one coat of a Meguiar's polish to clean the paint first, then applied a coat of Smart Sealant. The product was applied by hand with a microfiber pad and has a nice smell (if that matters to some). The wax came off very easily even after applying it to the whole car before removal. It left a really nice shine and the paint was left feeling very smooth. I only gave it 4 stars because I can't comment on durability just yet, but I expect it to be pretty good. I would definitely recommend this product as an easy-to-apply sealant that leaves a great shine.
