(More customer reviews)I am not a car detailing fanatic, and I would normally go through the automatic car wash at the gas station even though I have always been troubled by the incredible waste of water. But I bought a new black car and I knew it would take more work to keep it clean, especially in the winter. I found this product on an internet discussion board, and bought it here through amazon/palm beach motoring/autogeek. This stuff is awesome!
Just two capfuls of Optimum No Rinse, plus 1 bucket of water and some microfiber towels and my car is CLEAN. Amazingly clean. No rinsing. No hose or anything. The dirt bonds to the liquid somehow and after soaking the microfiber towel in the "soapy" bucket and cleaning off the dirt, you just wipe your car dry. I know it makes no sense whatsoever to NOT rinse off your car, but it really works. No scratches or swirls or anything. Now I can clean my car in the garage, even in the winter - without wasting water! It was really cold outside, so my hands were frozen by the time I was finished, so next time I am going to use a pair of really long rubber gloves. (And after cleaning I did follow with an application of Klasse All in One - a non-wax protectant, which is also new to me and I would also recommend).
This product would be a perfect gift for earth-friendly or car-loving types.

(More customer reviews)A local auto parts store owner first took me outside and used this stuff on his brand new (but muddy) pickup truck. It was a dark green color and the dried mud was very visible and I was sad to see him spray this on the mud and start rubbing. That is until I saw the results. I immediately bought the 32 oz bottle with empty pump sprayer (a must) and went home to try it for myself. Now after almost 3 years my bottle is empty and I found this stuff here on Amazon so I can continue using it. This product completely eliminates water spotting after washing with soap and water. Plus the product leaves the finish bright and shiny so I rarely have to wax. I've used this on several vehicles and it works great on all. It is a bit pricey but it lasts so long that it is really a great value. If you live in an area where the weather is below freezing and can't wash with water this is your solution.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this product on faith. With water restrictions in effect in my area, car washing is not allowed. So, in order to keep my new vehicle maintained, I tried this product. I was worried about dirt scratching the paint's surface as I washed, but that didn't happen at all. The car was very clean when I finished, with no scratches whatsoever... and I really tried to find scratches! I looked at the car from all angles, and in different lighting. The paint is perfect, and because I recycled water from my dehumidifier (only 2 gallons), I did not violate the restrictions. This stuff is great.

Easy to wipe

(More customer reviews)I was a little hesitant to try a 'waterless carwash', but I am really glad I tried this product.
It does exactly what the manufacturer says it does.
I have a full size long bed Dodge Ram truck and I can detail it 4 times on one bottle.
I am now a convert.
My local Advance store is now carrying it. It is 9.95 with no shipping.
The only thing to watch out for is if your vehicle is muddy or you live in an area with sand. You will need to rinse the mud/sand off before you start.
You may be able to do a 'Smart Car' in 15 min, but it takes me about an hour.

(More customer reviews)It took me appoximately 30 minutes to wash my 2-door F-150 truck. Hadnt been washed in about 3 weeks. You could see the dirt on it. I did no pre-wash rinse. I used roughly half the bottle, but I am sure I used too much my first time, so getting 3 washes out of a bottle would be no problem. Four washes probably wouldnt happen. If you own like a Yukon or some other monster SUV your only gonna get 2 washes out of this sucker.
As far as elbow grease, its a pretty simple wash overall. I had a lot of bugs on my grill/bumper area and that took a little effort and got about 95% of them. The rest of the truck, counting bugs on my windshield and hood used no effort whatsoever, just spray and wipe clean, then buff with a dry cloth. Very easy. I think this is great for anyone in the city or water restricted areas. Its not going to "gleam" your car, go to the pros for the nice wax finish, but it does a good job overall of cleaning. I keep the bottle in my truck just in case a bird targets me. Would definately recommend and will be buying more.
