(More customer reviews)I applied this polish to reduce fine swirl marks, and I am pleased by the results. The gloss is brilliant, and the paint is smooth and slick to the touch. I used a Porter Cable 7424XP with a polishing pad.
I did have to do the bulk of the truck a second time to eliminate all the fine swirl marks, but the swirl marks are gone.
I was surprised by how much the gloss was improved. The paint looks layered, deep and reflective. I was hesitant to apply a wax or sealant because of the paint's sparkle just with this polish. But I did add a wax to seal the job. And that seems to be where the issues started.
It is very difficult to remove all the polish residue with just a microfiber cloth, even when the Porter Cable has done a great job of reducing the polish. I still saw and felt some residue after I had gone over the entire vehicle twice with a microfiber cloth. I used a wet microfiber cloth to spit shine the finish (got this idea from Liquid Glass directions). The finish was not ideal, but I thought waxing would remove the final bits of streaking. It takes some work to remove all the polish residue.
I know technique matters a great deal when you apply polish and wax with a DA polisher, so I will chalk up the few issues I have with this polish to my imperfect technique and the cooler temperatures (not quite 60F). I will update as I use this product closer to spring.
