(More customer reviews)I really wanted these to work. The idea sounded great - wipers that don't wear out and are infused with PTFE so you get the Rain-X effect simply by using the wipers!
Installation was easy, but things started to go downhill after that. Both wipers had issues contacting the entire windshield during the sweep, thus leaving spots that didn't clear the water. I think this is due to the uni-blade design and the stiffness of the blade itself. It got worse - we had a couple of snowstorms - nothing major, but after the first one, the blade warped simply by being in contact with the snow/ice. Then the cheap plastic that holds the one-piece design in place broke off when encountering a little friction. And I never have seen the Rain-X effect despite using these for close to four months.
Honestly, I got much better performance out of the cheap rubber blades and a bottle of Rain-X than I have with these. The marketing pitch sounds nice, but execution leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe there are silcone wiper blades that do work great, but these aren't them.

(More customer reviews)I bought these silblade silicon wiper blades for my 2007 honda and i'm already impressed with the results, they stood up to the blizzard we had here in new york during 2010 / 2011, and they continue to clear the windshield streak free. Regular rubber wiper blades usually will create some sort of line as they swipe back and forth, but not these. They also look alot better then the ordinary wiper blades they replaced. I would highly recomend these to someone sick of buying wiper blades every few months.

(More customer reviews)Got this as a replacement for my 2007 Accord on the passenger side. Works beautifully. Sometimes after washing my window with these, it looks like I have no windshield at all. The Uniblade maintains much better contact with the windshield than the Flexblades for the Accord... at least for the passenger side. The 26 incher for the driver side doesn't maintain close contact on the up stroke near the bottom of the windshield.
Waiting to see if the blade really lasts years instead of months....

I originally bought the regular silblades, but they were loose, they rattled and shook while cleaning windows. Silblade WB122S Premium Black Silicone Wiper Blade - 22" by Silblade Permalink: http://amzn.com/B00029X5WO The reason they did was there was a gap on either side of the plastic clip in between the metal frame. The plastic clip is the achilles heal in their case.
Back to these wonderful wipers. They are the best without a doubt. The frame is thick, all plastic and extremely solid (No Flex or play at all except where it is meant to at the joints). The wiper blade is a flexible but durable silicone that makes contact the windshield completely and glides with ease. Even with dry windows there is no streaking or lines. When you first use them they leave a film on the window that keeps rain from accumulating and helps them slide across it easier.
I first came across silblade in 2005 when I was at the SEMA show in Vegas and bought my first pair. This is when silblade made Ultra frames in color with colored silicone blade. That was amazing back then and I wish they still made them. The big thing is that I bought a pair of red frames with red blades for my moms 05 Rav 4 which was new at the time, and she just replaced them in the winter of 09. They still worked as good as new but the frames only faded a little. Thats insane. These went through 4 winters and change of season in Jersey and still were going strong with no rips tears or streaking on the windshield.
I trust these on both my parents cars and will ONLY use these on mine. I really hope they never change their formula but I would highly recommend that you buy the SILBLADE HYBRID version if you have a problem with the SILBLADE PREMIUM wipers.

Silblade Uni UB126, Hybrid Silicone Wiper Blade 26" Review

(More customer reviews)This is based on my 2007 Accord so your experience may differ. This 26" blade fits on my car's driver side and it clears the windshield very well. There are times after I wash my windshield with these that it looks like my windshield is not there. If you have an 2003-2007 Accord, get these instead of the Silblade Flexblade because the Flexblades don't conform to the windshield as nicely as these Uniblades.
The only problem is that the bottom two inch of the blade does not make good contact with the windshield on the upstroke. This leaves smears along that area as the wiper is going up, but on the way down it gets cleared out. Really odd phenomenon and a bit annoying.
Still waiting to see if the blades actually lasts years instead of months like the manufacturer claims.

BUT fear not, my windsheild was frosted just two days ago when I was in a hurry to get to school - it worked great. I mean, it just dissolved the ice. It wasn't terrible thick ice (not sure how this will work for really bad days) but it was that kind that is really annoying to scrape off so I was really glad I had this stuff. Once I started driving, thick drops of the product ran down my windsheild, but they quickly evaporated. I might have used more than was needed so it beaded down.

The professionalism, courtesy and assistance I received was wonderful. Sure, the blades didn't work out (more tension in the curve of the Silblade wiper than my flatter windshield 1997 Toyota 4Runner could deal with) but I know I can count on O'Donnell's for fast shipping and wonderful customer service.
In the end, I purchased RainEx wiper blades locally.
