It was like looking through frosted glass so I used my Meguiar's 17 and with judicious polishing in about an hour and a half I restored them to like new condition. It has a very fine grade of abrasion which was just perfect for my plastic lenses. I wholeheartedly endorse it especially for this use.

Safely cleans discoloration and removes fine hairline scratches from all clear acrylic or polycarbonate plastics. Apply a small amount to a soft, 100% cotton flannel or Blu-Velvet microfiber buffing/polishing cloth, work into the surface until it hazes and then buff out with another soft, 100% cotton flannel or Blu-Velvet microfiber buffing/polishing cloth. Stubborn discoloration or scratches may require multiple applications. Follow immediately with an application of Meguiars #10 Clear Plastic Polish. Use on convertible top windows, light lenses and helmet visors.
